Ingredients

  • 1 bag (or 2 cups) frozen Broccoli Florets Nature’s Touch
  • ½ cup fresh basil, roughly chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
  • 3 tbsp parmesan
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • Long or short pasta, to taste

Step 1

Bring a pot of water to a boil then pour in the contents of a bag of frozen Broccoli florets Nature’s Touch.

Step 2

When boiling, cook for 3 minutes. Drain then. Pour into a blender with the basil, garlic, parmesan, lemon juice, salt and black pepper.

Step 3

Pulse until everything is finely chopped. With the blender still running, slowly drizzle the oil or until the pesto is smooth. Scrape down the sides if necessary.

Step 4

Once the pasta is cooked, coat with the broccoli pesto and serve immediately, adding a little chopped basil, if desired.
