Ingredients

  • 1 bag Nature’s Touch Frozen Broccoli Florets
  • 1 ½ cups Parmigiano Reggiano, finely grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

Step 1

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the frozen broccoli and cook for 5 minutes. Drain well, then pat dry with a clean kitchen towel to remove as much moisture as possible.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3

Finely grate parmigiano reggiano and spread out in an even layer on the baking sheet.

Step 4

Arrange the broccoli on top of the cheese. Use the bottom of a glass or measuring cup to gently smash each floret—flatten slightly but keep them mostly intact.

Step 5

Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle evenly with salt, garlic powder, and lemon zest.

Step 6

Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and crisp and the broccoli edges are browned. Allow to cool slightly, then break apart.

Step 7

To serve, add a final bit of lemon zest or a squeeze of juice if you’d like extra brightness.
