Ingredients

  • 3 cups Nature’s Touch Organic Very Berry Cherry Mix
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt, to taste
  • 3/4 cup cold butter, cut into cubes

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8 x 8 in (20 x 20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside.

Step 2

In a small saucepan, heat the Berry Cherry Mix with the granulated sugar and cornstarch over medium heat. Stir for 4–5 minutes until slightly thickened. Roughly mash with a potato masher, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Step 3

In a bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, and pinch of salt. Add the cold butter and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to crumble the mixture until it holds together in small clumps.

Step 4

Press about 2/3 of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust. Spread the berry-cherry filling evenly on top. Sprinkle the remaining crumble over the filling.

Step 5

Bake 35–40 minutes, until the top is golden. Let cool completely before cutting into 9 bars.
